As women we are often reminded of the necessity of practicing self-love and self-care. Yet, what’s the difference? Let’s Break Down the fundamental difference between self-love vs. self-care SO THAT You Love Yourself Completely.
Self-Love is how you internally feel about yourself. Knowing Your Worth and valuing yourself. Realizing that your self-worth doesn’t lie in your career, status or money–yet, it’s your god-given right to love yourself. Self-Love is all the acts and choices one makes to promote one’s well-being and happiness.
Self-care is an essential part of self-love. It’s “feeling your cup first before filling others”. Self-Care is how you take care of yourself: mind, body, heart and soul. How you make taking care of yourself a priority. Self-Care is knowing what you need to feel nourished and balanced at any given time.
Self-Love Vs. Self-Care.
In essence, self-love is how one emotionally feel about oneself and values their worth. Whereas self-care is how one takes care of themselves (preserve and protect one’s energy) in each self-care dimension: body, mind, heart and soul.
Both (self-love and self-care) are Essential and necessary daily practices to Living a Happy and Balanced Life–and Loving Yourself Completely.
