When I was told that I din’t know how to love myself. I have to admit I was somewhat taken back. I didn’t feel like I “hated” myself or was deliberately harming myself is anyway. Although, I wasn’t happy with my life, I still thought I was just fine. And self-love was for all of those women with low self-esteem, not me! Do You Need To Start Loving Yourself Better? 1. Do you have “negative” self-talk?
That little voice that sounds like your own that always belittles you or tells you can’t do something. Start observing how you are speaking to and/or about yourself. If you find that you are not speaking to yourself in a loving way, It is time to start loving yourself better.
2. Do you feel under appreciated?
If you always feel like you have to do something for other people to feel accepted or liked–You may need to start setting healthy boundaries. Feeling used or abused are clear signs that you may be putting everyone’s needs ahead of your own and sacrificing your own happiness, and self-love.
3. Do you put your dreams on hold for others?
Do you “sacrifice” your dreams for others? If so, this is a big Self Love “No, No”. Living your dreams is part of being your highest and truest self. You have value and love to share with the world. Appreciate who you truly are and know that you (along with everyone else) deserves to be Happy.
4. Do you compare yourself to others?
Are you always comparing yourself to others? The way you look, your clothes, what you buy, etc. Do you often times feel insecure and that others are better than you? This is the day to start loving all the unique gifts that you have to offer. We are all uniquely perfect. A comparison is not needed or even possible to make.
