We all want to stay fit and healthy. Yet, sometimes our budget don’t allow the extra funds for an expensive gym membership, or to take specialty classes. Don’t fret! Check out 7 Ways to Stay–all for Free or Low-Cost!
1. Go for a walk or bike ride.
Staring a daily walking routine or going for a bike ride are easy and simple ways to stay fit–for Free. The next time you have to do an errand close to home–considering walking or riding your bike. Or visit a nearby nature trail.
2. Sign-up for a free gym trial.
Most gyms offer free trial memberships to try out their facilities and/or fitness classes. Check with one of your local gyms Free trials. Make sure to read the find print and cancel within the required time. Most free trials will last for 30 days–that’s a great Free way to kickstart your fitness routine.
3. Visit your library.
Most libraries have a large selection of fitness videos available to their patrons–at no charge! My library offers a Free 7-day for all workout videos. This allows me to keep a variety of my favorite workout videos on hand at no cost at all.
4. Find fitness channels on YouTube.

5. Call your health care plan provider.
Did you know that your health care plan provider may offer Free or Low-cost fitness classes; especially if you are a senior? Give your insurance provider a call and don’t forget to look for flyers for fitness/health classes the next time you visit your health care provider!
6. Check your local community center.
Most local community center offer fitness and/or exercise classes for Free or Low-cost. Water Aerobics, yoga, cardio and more. Stop in and grab a course catalog or visit your city’s or township’s website for more information.
7. Buy fitness classes on Groupon.
Groupon frequently offers fitness courses at local yoga studios and/or fitness centers for Low-Cost! A co-worker of mine just recently registered for a 6-week hot yoga class for $19! Sign-up and receive $10 off your first purchase.
